Survivors of a Bomb

I will now tell you a long story about what came about now as our dens and territory. Before "the incident", the two-legs were taking our land and killing us and capturing us by the hundreds all over the once, our territory. The badgers and dogs would kill us. And life itself was threatened. But we survived didn't we. Food was getting scarcer and the river in dear riverclan was dying low.

One night, starclan sent a message to every single one of us on the planet... take cover. Unfortunately... others wouldn't believe starclan and ignored the two words that were spoken. Only a few of us followed their pure hearts, to an underground passage that mysteriously appeared every time we went past it. Now a short note, no one has been able to open it ever since, yet the place is still there, and remembered.

So, as we entered, we found food and water to supply us. The small group from all the clans combined set down to sleep for the night when a huge eruption shook us. The so called "Awakening", but not any ordinary two-legged boom. One that shook every leaf, every piece of sand and cracked every piece of frozen river and happened everywhere.

As we came up from underneath the covers of the ground, four days later when the door of the cave finally caved opened. Everything was gone. There was a huge carpet of a strange green covering the earth... no animals, no clouds, just the sun, and the blue sky.

Well, we settled, the land grew at it's own pace. Some parts much much faster then others. And with every litter born, we became a larger group, not only that, but powerful as well. We were able to reach places unimaginable and reach such great speeds that we began to evolve.

Besides stronger senses, we grew a sixth sense so strong that we could get around with our eyes closed. We grew as big as dogs and were the only mammals left on earth, so we thought. The ones that came into that cave were known as "the elite", and, like me, now live in the new starclan. It is now closer to the ground and many walk the empty spaces of the new planet rather then starclan when it was in the sky.

Things changed, we know. But we managed, and will continue to manage. Now lets just hope things get better as newleaf passes. Because most of us in starclan know in our hearts that the water and the bright sun will become irregular and come at random times. We made a new season calendar for all you cats.
